Wytham Woods Research Application Form

Applications are usually processed within a week. Research proposals that do not affect other projects or the medium to long term sustainability of the woodland are signed off by the Conservator. More complex proposals have to be reviewed by the Wytham Committee. Please contact the Conservator with any questions on locations or access arrangements.

The Wytham General Info group is used for communicating about general issues which may impact your work, ranging from internet access to mislaid equipment. The Woods Firearms group is used to inform researchers about any shooting being undertaken by forestry staff in the Woods, and to arrange safe access. The Woods Weather group is used to alert researchers when the Woods need to be closed owing to extreme weather conditions.
