Susan Neale

Susan is a professional artist who has only recently been introduced to the visual magic of Wytham Woods. Painting in both watercolour and mixed media, she is inspired by the tapestry of the changing seasons with their threads of light, colour, texture and sound.

Susan has been involved in painting the natural world all her adult life. When living in the North of England she was Artist in Residence at The Arboretum Castle Howard and for the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. She is a painting tutor for both the RHS and the National Trust and is an exhibiting artist with the NEAC and the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour at the Mall Galleries London. Susan is never happier than when she immerses herself painting and drawing in the depths of the wood, attempting to capture the essence, heart and soul of this inspiring environment.
