Wytham Woods Walk

Join us on September 8th from 2pm-5pm for an afternoon packed full of the extraordinary. Experience Wytham Woods like never before!

  • 2pm-4pm: Tractor Rides through the Woods – you can hop off at various locations to explore the Woods yourselves, visit the Wytham Studio for a print workshop, ask the experts, or find the storytelling glade.

 

  • 2pm-5pm: Drop in print workshop at the Wytham Studio with Rosie Fairfax-Cholmeley. Make your own poster to take away with you!

 

  • 2pm-4.30pm: Clay pottery workshop in the Sawmill Yard with Annie Hudson

 

  • 2pm-5pm: Watch the ‘Laboratory With Leaves’ videos in the dipping shed, including our new 75th Anniversary video

 

  • 2pm-5pm: See Maga Esberg’s pin-hole camera photographs of the Woods in the middle barn

 

  • 2pm – 2:30pm: Storytelling with Sef Townsend in the Woods (first turn)

 

  • 2.30pm-4.30pm: ‘Ask the Expert’, Keith Kirby demonstrating research plots in the Woods

 

  • 3pm – 3.30pm: Storytelling with Sef Townsend in the Woods (first turn)

 

  • 3pm-4pm: “Meet the Bats” with Dr Dani Linton of the Wytham Bat Project, on the Singing Way

 

  • 4pm – 4.30pm: Storytelling with Sef Townsend in the Woods (first turn)
