A poetry workshop with Wytham Woods’ Writer in Residence, Penny Boxall. On the shortest day of the year, we'll consider the power of short poems, and look at techniques for writing our own.
Meet at the Chalet (please allow 20 minutes to walk up from the car park: follow the tarmac road through Gibson’s Gate and follow it to the top of the hill. The Chalet is the 3 story building on the right. Penny will meet you outside). Please bring a notebook and pen. The event is intended for adults. Hopefully we’ll also get out into the Woods themselves if the weather permits, so wear comfortable clothes and suitable footwear.
The event ends at the Chalet at 12.30, so please allow 20 minutes after that to return to the car park.
