In May one of the most spectacular scenes at Wytham is the swathes of wild garlic. Come and spend a morning with us in the Woods and watch professional artist Susan Neale demonstrate painting in watercolours en plein air. You will be able to see how Susan builds a composition to capture the combination of dappled light, shade and colour by applying different techniques to bring these wildflowers and their woodland setting to life.
The event will take place at a location roughly 20-25 minutes' walk into the Woods. We therefore ask attendees to arrive at 9.30am, and wear suitable footwear. Parking closer to the location may be arranged for those less able to walk.
